Grassroots Leadership Institute
Advisory Council

The Grassroots Neighborhood Leadership Advisory Council offers leadership training to citizens in the community by assisting the Clayton Collaborative Authority to plan and conduct neighborhood leadership programs.

The Council's role is to provide a broad base of local resources and contacts, to assist with promoting programs, to help recruit potential participants, and to provide a cadre of local leaders who work to ensure an effective and quality program.

Community volunteers interested in fostering community leadership programs are welcomed as participants. To maintain membership status, a volunteer must attend the Council's monthly meetings. Meetings are held at the Clayton County Extension Service Building on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Additional full Council meetings and committee meetings occur as needed.
